For many families across the Flathead Valley and surrounding Montana communities, staying warm isn’t guaranteed.
That’s why Always Ready Firewood launched Fires for Families — a community-driven firewood donation program designed to provide free firewood to local families in need.
When you buy firewood from us, you’re not just heating your home.
You’re helping protect someone else’s.
HOW IT WORKS
Selected families receive properly seasoned firewood delivered directly to their home at no cost.
As our retail and wholesale footprint expands across Montana and nationwide, our charitable impact expands with it.

Automatic Giving
For every cord of firewood sold, 10% of profits go directly toward providing firewood to Montana families in need.
For every 10 cords sold, we donate one full cord.
Community Donations
In addition to automatic contributions through sales, individuals and businesses can make direct monetary donations to support additional families.
Family Nominations
Community members can nominate a family experiencing hardship for a chance to receive free firewood this winter.

NOMINATE
Do you know a local family struggling to cover heating costs this winter?
We invite community members, schools, churches, and local organizations to nominate families for consideration.
Terms and Program Disclosure
By donating or submitting a nomination, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
• Always Ready Firewood reserves the right to review, approve, or decline nominations at its sole discretion.
• Donation funds will be allocated toward firewood procurement, preparation, delivery, and administrative costs associated with the program.
• Selection of recipient families is not guaranteed and is based on internal review criteria.
• Always Ready Firewood reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the program at any time.
• Donations are not refundable.
• Fires for Families is a charitable initiative and may not qualify as a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible donation unless otherwise specified. Donors are encouraged to consult their tax advisor regarding deductibility.
• Recipient information will be kept confidential unless explicit written consent is provided for public acknowledgment.
